Not a whole lot has been going on here. Summer has kept me busy and I have been able to complete a few more orders. One new thing I have changed is the adult headbands. Instead of having to tie them in the back, I have crocheted in a hairband in the back. This allows a snugger fit and makes it easier to put on. I will post pictures later so you get a better idea.
On a different note, people keep telling me I should create an Etsy account. I definitely want to, but I am hesitant because I want to have more professional looking pictures of the headbands to post. Brooke is helping me get closer by being an adorable model. She recently had her 6 month pictures taken by Angela Mae Photography. She did a great job! Here is Brookie wearing a Crochet Creation headband.

Craft Fair
It has been way to long since I have updated! I have been keeping busy with work and crocheting. 2 weeks ago was the Craft Fair and it went REALLY well. I was a little worried that I would do all the work of having enough items, and then no one would be interested. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with many costumers who loved my stuff :) I took a few pictures of my set-up. I absolutely love the tablecloth. It really made everything pop. There are also some pictures of Brooke making some of my creations even cuter :)
Isn't she the cutest?!

Spring has sprung...

Welcome!
Here are some of the most recent projects I have been working on.
Because kids grow so quickly, I wanted to find a way to make headbands adjustable. Instead of sewing the two ends together, I have placed two buttons and a loop around each ends. This way the headband can grow with your little one.
Another new item is the detachable flower headband. Flowers are attached to the headband with a button. This way you can buy one headband and flower for $8, and then purchase additional flowers for $4 each. Who doesn't love versatility and a deal?
I have also been asked by a friend from high school, Heather Kent, to participate in a art/craft fair that she is putting on at her church. Heather is an AMAZING artist, and I feel so honored to be included in this. The fair takes place April 24th at Faith Presbyterian Church in Long Beach from 9am-4pm. There will be a wonderful collection of handmade and vintage items including jewelry, art, soap, stationary, clothing, accessories, gifts, and so much more good stuff. There will also be raffles, silent auction, bake sale, a “coffee shop”, and a few surprises!
Thanks so much for looking and feel free to send me a message or email me at canema3@gmail.com if you would like to order anything.
